Well, it’s been a great week walking and camping in West Dorset and along part of the Jurassic Coast. Rain only on one day and the rest were nice and sunny days.
It’s been many years since I’ve slept in a tent, and I won’t lie, it was very tough the first night, and the second too. By the end of the week it was getting more comfortable. This was a trial run for next year in which the plan is to visit many historical and sacred places in Dorset and perhaps slightly further afield.
A lot of lessons have been learned this week of what we need and what we can cope with. Over the winter I’ll be planning routes, sites and equipment, clothes etc. It’s going to take a lot of time but will be fun.
When I get back home, I want to go through all the images on the website and hopefully improve the quality of them and drop a few more images in and replace some, as well as check all the text again etc.
So there’s so much to do, amongst other things, when I’m back home. Also got to plan for our Christmas trip – more later.
Think that’s enough for now, a lot of travelling coming up tonight.
Be back soon!
